Reflective Web Blogging Week 8
Hi everyone. We met again after mid sem break. But unfortunately, for me I could not really enjoy the mid sem break as I had to come earlier to UPM to settle some labwork for FYP. Arghhh, this FYP is really killing me inside out. 😪 But Alhamdulliah, by the time I'm writing this post, I already settled my labwork.
Enough about the rant, let me start to write the reflection of this week's lab session. Haha!
So, Dr Fareed started the lab by commenting about the CIP presentation. There are quite few things that Dr want us to improve on the website. Among them is:
1. Picture- use own, fresh, recent & attractive pictures
2. Mobile version- must be synchronized with the computer version
3. Online form – instead of using google form, which might be consider quite outdated, can use typeform.com to create attractive form.
4. Domain- URL can be shorten, using bit.do - this website also can prepare QR code for the wix.com website, that later on can be put on clients' website
5. Create hashtags - to increase the algorithm in web search
6. Colour- use colour that can be seen clearly
7. Location- must include waze.com also because it's more convenient in mobile version
8. Analytic- all the data collected on wix.com can be analyse using Alexa.com
After all the comments, we moved to spot-check. Haha, it's not really spot-check, Dr. Fareed just checked our update on Google Digital Garage and our personal website on wix.com. Dr reminds us not to do those two at last minute cause it can burden us.
